Therapy for adults who feel emotionally stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—despite functioning well on the outside
You may be holding a lot together: work, relationships, family, responsibility. And yet, underneath, something feels off—anxiety, numbness, reactivity, or a sense of repeating the same patterns no matter how much insight you have
.I’m Omer Harari, LMFT, a Los Angeles–based psychotherapist offering relational psychotherapy, EMDR, and expressive approaches for adults who want more than coping. Therapy here is a space to slow down, understand what you’re carrying, and create meaningful, lasting change.

There’s a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.
You may find this work helpful if you:
Are capable and thoughtful, yet feel emotionally disconnected or overwhelmed
Notice familiar patterns repeating in relationships, parenting, or work
Carry a lot of responsibility while feeling inwardly alone
Understand yourself intellectually, but struggle to feel things clearly
Want therapy that goes deeper than coping strategies or insight
Many clients come during life transitions—becoming a parent, deepening a partnership, facing burnout, or encountering earlier experiences that still shape how they show up.
Relational, depth-oriented therapy
My work is collaborative, intentionally paced, and grounded in relationship. We pay attention not only to what you’re talking about, but to what unfolds between us.
Depending on your needs, I may integrate:
Relational psychotherapy to explore attachment patterns and relational dynamics
EMDR to process experiences that remain emotionally “stuck,” even after years of talk therapy
Expressive arts and creative approaches when words alone don’t reach what matters
The aim is greater emotional flexibility, clarity, and connection—within yourself and in your relationships.
A note for men & fathers:
Many men come to therapy unsure where to begin—especially when they’re used to being the one who holds things together.
I have a particular interest in working with men and fathers who want to be more emotionally present and grounded, without being pathologized or pushed into a version of themselves that doesn’t fit. This work often involves slowing down, developing emotional language, and gently examining long-held expectations around responsibility, strength, and care.

I am considered an “out of network” provider and do not take insurance. Please check with your insurance provider for details regarding your out of network benefits, most plans offer reimbursement for a portion of each session after meeting your deductible. I provide monthly superbills that can be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement. Here are some questions I recommend you ask your insurance provider directly:
1. Does my policy cover out-of-network mental health providers?
2. What is my deductible and has it been met yet?
3. What percentage of my bill will be covered for services obtained by an out-of-network provider?
-
Payment is accepted in the form of credit card. Prior to your first session, you will be asked to complete intake paperwork through a secure online portal, Simple Practice. It is at this time that you will submit your credit card information to have on file. You will be charged automatically at the end of each session.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059
